Futility – The Wreck of the Titan

In 1898 the novel Futility was released with eerily similar foreshadowing to the sinking of the Titanic. The largest ocean-going vessel ever to set sail, named the Titan, filled with the richest passengers on earth, sinks after hitting an iceberg… After the Titanic sunk it was renamed The Wreck of the Titan.

The piece is based on the single illustration in the book, animated, colorized, and set to music (see the Opensea listing). This is a one of one art piece, with both the commemorative Titanic NFT and the Futility NFT along with an unlockable PDF of the original novel.
